Return & Refund Policy

Our Commitment

HappyChiPups will always take a puppy back at any age, for any reason. We will never knowingly let one of our puppies end up in a shelter. The terms below explain how returns and refunds work financially.

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable. They reserve a specific puppy and remove that puppy from availability for other interested buyers. If you choose to switch to a different available puppy from a current or future litter, your deposit transfers once.

Within 72 Hours of Pickup

If your licensed vet examines the puppy within 72 hours of pickup and determines the puppy was unhealthy at the time of placement (excluding stress, parasites picked up in transit, or hypoglycemia from a missed meal), you may return the puppy with full vet documentation for either:

• A full refund of the purchase price (less the non-refundable deposit and any travel costs already paid), or
• Replacement with another puppy of equal value from a current or future litter.

After 72 Hours

After 72 hours, the sale is considered final. The 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee continues to apply per the terms of your sales agreement.

Voluntary Return

If at any point in the puppy's life you can no longer keep your puppy, contact us first. We will arrange to take the puppy back. No refund is offered for voluntary returns after 72 hours, and the buyer is responsible for return transport.

Conditions of Any Return

• The puppy must be returned in the same health condition it left, except for the issue being claimed.
• Full veterinary records must accompany the puppy.
• Original sales agreement and health certificate must be returned.
• Buyer is responsible for safe, climate-controlled return transport.

What Is Not Refundable

• Deposits
• Delivery / nanny / flight costs
• Veterinary expenses incurred by the buyer
• Costs of food, supplies, or accessories purchased by the buyer
