About HappyChiPups

Our Story

HappyChiPups began as a family passion project — and grew into a small, dedicated home program devoted entirely to raising healthy, well-socialized Chihuahua puppies. Every puppy we place into a forever home is born and raised inside our family living room, never in kennels, never alone.

Chihuahuas are tiny dogs with enormous personalities, and they thrive when they're truly part of the family from day one. That's the only way we know how to raise them.

What We Believe

We believe a great breeder is measured by the lives of the puppies they place — not by how many they produce. So we keep our litters small, our matings carefully planned, and our standards uncompromising on health, temperament, and structure.

Health First, Always

Every parent dog in our program has been screened for the conditions known to affect the breed — including heart, knee, and eye health. Every puppy goes home with vet-issued health records, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and a written health guarantee.

Temperament & Socialization

Confident, sweet Chihuahuas don't happen by accident. From the moment our puppies open their eyes, they're handled daily, exposed to household sounds, introduced to other gentle dogs, and gently introduced to crate, leash, and potty routines. The result is a puppy that walks into your home already feeling like part of the family.

Forever Support

The day you take a puppy home is the start of our relationship — not the end. We're here for life. Whether it's a feeding question at 6 weeks or a birthday photo at 6 years, we want to hear from you.
